Sanctuary of the Madonna Soccorso

Sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso: located in the township of Ossuccio, on the western bank of Lake Como. It is located on the mountain slope at a height of 400 m asl. The sanctuary having been built in various eras. The central section completed in 1537, followed by varied extension work, carried out up until 1730.

Isola comacina

Isola Comacina: Is the only island of the entire Lake of Como. It is today semi-deserted, and has in fact been inhabited since Roman times. Monuments having been erected here as early as pre-Christina times (5th century). The island was practically destroyed in 1169 due to wars between the townships of Milan and Como, and left almost abandoned. However it is today possible to admire the ancient remains of a superb Basilica dedicated to St. Eufemia. The above being only some of the hidden delights that our area offers. From Lezzeno you will be able to set off on a voyage of discovery of some of the most unique and hidden treasures of Lake Como, on a trip lasting only a few hours or on a full-day trip. You can visit the towns of Como and Lecco or take a slightly longer journey to Milan or Lugano. Not forgetting that our area offers a host of sporting delights such as water-skiing, wakeboarding or kayaking. You may also wish to hire a sailing, or motor boat to explore our lake or go fishing. Or you may prefer to head for the mountains and hire mountain bikes, to enjoy wonderful cycling excursions, or maybe a horse to enjoy horse-back trekking, both on tracks or on dirt roads. Not to mention all the breathtaking excitement of a paragliding jump, or an adventure day out at the “Jungle Raider Park”, where you can test your physical skills, by taking adventure routes suspended amongst the trees.
